Christine Monds, a Connecticut native, is a multi-media professional specializing in television news and entertainment. She takes great pride in producing quality entertainment that informs, inspires, and impacts the viewing audience.
Christine’s career started in the music industry and shifted to television in 2006. At Fox Television Stations, Inc. Monds had the incredible privilege of observing the CEO during one of the biggest turning points in the company’s history – the launch of Fox Business Network and the rebranding of MyNetworkTV. She soon joined the top rated WNYW Fox 5 Newsroom where she earned her local news stripes. Christine’s tenure was at CNN overseeing 9 Newsroom Shows averaging 60 LIVE hours of programming per week. She enjoyed being part of the team coverage for 2010 Gulf Oil Spill, 2011 Arab Spring, 2012 Presidential Election, and 2013 Affordable Care Act Rollout.
In 2014, Christine joined CNBC “The recognized world leader in business news” overseeing the Field Operations team. In 2015, Christine accepted an incredible opportunity to help launch the VICELAND Network. She supervised VICE Labs – an innovative incubator for interstitial content and program development. Monds was soon tapped as Line Producer to launch 5 Pilots, 3 Specials, and 3 Primetime Shows – including the #1 Late Night Show Desus & Mero and the Emmy Award Winning VICELAND at the Women’s March. Her fearless vision, spot-on execution, and leadership skills continue to maximize creative and operational effectiveness. Christine is currently a Production Executive at BET, A Viacom Company.
